Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Care Center
Bria had a hard time sitting still and often got in trouble for lashing out at school. When her mom took her to the doctor, Bria was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her doctor prescribed her some medicine to help with Bria’s behavior.
A month later, Bria’s mom brought her back to the doctor’s office for a follow-up visit. Bria’s doctor adjusted her treatment. Now, Bria has an easier time at school and her behavior has improved.
If you or a loved one suffer from ADHD, it’s important to follow up with your doctor. Schedule follow-up visits:
- Within one month of your first diagnosis
- Two times within the next six to nine months
- Once a year after the first year
If you need help scheduling a visit or have questions about ADHD, a care manager can help. Call Member Services at 1-888-756-0004, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get started.
