Diabetes remains a leading cause of death in the United States, with total direct and indirect medical costs estimated at $245 billion, according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Almost 30 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes, and the ADA says that more cases are reported every year.

But, we can make a difference. We’re working to ensure patients have easy access to the tests that help track and manage their diabetes. We’ve developed programs to support members with diabetes and the providers who treat them.

Your participation in these programs and in encouraging our members with diabetes to be proactive in treating their disease can have a positive impact on the health outcomes for our members living with diabetes.
